Timeline Scrrenshot.png

From the seas to the screens.

I grew up in great state of New Jersey, and after watching Clerks at the age of 13 (thanks for showing it to me, mom), I was inspired by Kevin Smith, also from the Garden State, to make films of my own. But before I set the scene, I had to sail the seas. I worked on an active flight deck while enlisted in the U.S. Navy. It’s not exactly like Top Gun, but there were days where it felt pretty close. At the end of my Naval contract, I began my to pursue my undergraduate degree in filmmaking, which has allowed me to learn skills for creating films such as directing, editing, writing, camera operation, boom operation, gripping, and gaffing, turning me into a “Swiss Army (or Navy) Filmmaker”. The military has given me the ability to manage time effectively, plan for the unexpected, and the ability to function effectively with only 1-2 hours of sleep! The Navy also gave me a unique perspective and enhanced my natural curiosity, as I worked with sailors from all corners of the country and listened to their stories. To date, I have made one award winning heist short film and one award winning spec commercial featuring Chiquita. Another short film is on the way, and will be entering the film festival circuit soon.
